Teijin also said that the underwear and outerwear to be sold can make the wearer's skin more moist and relaxed.

According to Teijin, the new fiber made up of polyester polymer contains malic acid, which maintains the low acidity of the skin. Because when the body sweats or dries, the skin becomes alkaline, and it is easily attacked by microorganisms and other irritants. In addition, the new fiber-released compound interacts with the moisture contained in the skin itself to enhance skin aesthetics.

“The difficulty in creating this malic fiber is whether it can withstand washing in washing machines. Now this product can be used after more than 50 machine washes.” The product is scheduled to go on sale next year. “It will be the first underwear and shirt that will continue to be sold like other cosmetic products,” the company spokesperson said.
