The Ministry of Environmental Protection has held an executive meeting recently, which in principle passed four emission standards, such as the “Emission Standards for Water Pollutants in Textile Dyeing and Finishing Industryâ€, as well as the review of environmental assessment of some construction projects, the environmental protection verification of some listed companies, and the review opinions on the export of hazardous wastes from some enterprises.
The newly revised "Emission Standards for Water Pollutants in Textile Dyeing and Finishing Industry" has increased the control of emission of pollutants such as total phosphorus, total nitrogen, and organic halogens that can be adsorbed, and has increased control requirements for pollutant discharge. The newly formulated “Recycling Standards for Water Pollutants in Reeling Silk Industryâ€, “Emission Standard for Water Pollutants in Wool Textile Industryâ€, and “Discharge Standard for Water Pollutants in Hemp Spinner Industry†determine the discharge of water pollutants in the production process of reeling, woolen and linen spinning enterprises. Limits, monitoring and monitoring requirements, as well as the implementation and supervision of standards and other relevant provisions. The above standards will be jointly released with the AQSIQ after further revision.
The meeting also passed the review of the environmental impact assessment of two new construction projects, including the Jiangxi Shangrao Sanqingshan Airport Project; the principle was approved by the China Biotech Co., Ltd. for environmental protection inspection; the principle passed five companies including Xiamen Yonghong Technology Co., Ltd. Review of waste export applications.
